Newnan, GA – Motorcycle Accident at Roscoe Rd & GA-34 Intersection
Newnan, GA (September 12, 2021) – On Saturday morning, September 11, a motorcycle accident occurred at an intersection in Newnan.
According to officials, the accident happened at the intersection of Roscoe Road and GA-34. A man was headed north on his motorcycle when his motorcycle was struck by a passenger vehicle. The vehicle was attempting to make a left turn at the time. This caused severe damages to the motorcycle.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were called to the scene. The motorcyclist was the only person who was injured in the crash. He was seriously injured and transported to a local hospital by medical helicopter. It is reported that he is expected to survive his injuries.
It is not known if the driver of the passenger vehicle will face any charges. The intersection was completely blocked for a period of time.
