McDonough, GA – Motorcycle Accident Leads to Injuries on GA-20
McDonough, GA (November 11, 2021) – At 3:56 p.m. on the afternoon of Thursday, November 11, a motorcycle accident with injuries occurred in McDonough.
According to local police, the accident happened in the southbound lanes of GA-20 around the area of the Russell Road intersection. A school bus was traveling in the area when it suddenly struck a motorcyclist who was making a turn at the intersection. The motorcycle was badly damaged as a result.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were called to the scene to help those in need. The motorcycle rider was able to get up and walk around but sustained injuries in the accident. The victim was hospitalized but their condition is not yet known.
Due to the severity of the accident, the roadway was blocked in the area of the intersection for some time.
