Macon, GA – Tractor-Trailer Accident on I-75 at McDonough Rd Ends in Injuries
Macon, GA (November 25, 2021) – On Thursday evening, November 25, a multi-vehicle truck collision occurred on a major highway in the greater Macon area.
According to Macon officials, the accident happened in the northbound lanes of I-75 around the area of the McDonough Road exit. Police say that one driver reportedly lost control, causing a chain-reaction collision involving another sedan and a large truck. The vehicles involved were extensively damaged as a result.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were dispatched to the scene to help those in need. Several people sustained injuries as a result of the accident. Their conditions are not yet known but the parties are expected to be okay.
Due to the severity of the accident, all lanes of traffic were blocked for several hours as police cleared the scene. This led to delays in the area.
