Loganville, GA – Two-Vehicle Crash at GA-138 & Guthrie Cemetery Rd
Loganville, GA (January 4, 2022) – On Tuesday, January 4, a serious two-vehicle crash with injuries occurred at an intersection in Loganville.
According to Walton County Sheriff’s Office deputies, the accident happened around 3 p.m. at the intersection of GA-138 and Guthrie Cemetery Road. Two vehicles were traveling in opposite directions when they entered the intersection at the same time, causing them to forcefully collide with each other. The vehicles had to be towed from the scene due to extensive damages.
Paramedics and numerous other local responders were dispatched to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims were injured as a result of the accident. The injured parties were taken to local hospitals for treatment, though their conditions are not yet known.
The roadway was blocked in the area of the intersection for a period of time. This led to delays until police were able to clear the scene.
