Jasper County, GA – One Individual Seriously Injured in House Fire
Jasper County, GA (December 22, 2021) – At 4 p.m. on the afternoon of Tuesday, December 21, a house fire occurred in Jasper County that send one person to the hospital.
According to Jasper County officials, the incident took place in a home on the north side of the county. Fire crews received multiple calls about a home that was on fire in the area. When they arrived at the scene, they found heavy flames and smoke coming out of the attic of the home. Due to the severity of the fire, it took several hours to get the fire completely under control.
Paramedics and numerous other responders were called to the scene to help those in need. One person, who has not yet been identified, was injured in the fire. They were taken to the emergency room for their injuries, though their condition is not yet known.
The area was blocked for an extended period of time after the fire. Fire crews quickly worked to clear the scene.
No further details have been released but the investigation remains ongoing.
