Fort Oglethorpe, GA – Car Accident with Injuries on Battlefield Pkwy
Fort Oglethorpe. GA (September 29, 2021) – On Wednesday, September 29, a car accident with injuries occurred on a highway in Fort Oglethorpe.
According to Catoosa County officials, the accident happened on the Battlefield Parkway in front of the local Home Depot. Two vehicles were traveling in the area when they collided forcefully due to unknown reasons. The vehicles involved in the crash were badly damaged and had to be towed from the scene.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were called to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims, who have not yet been identified, were injured in the accident. The injured parties were taken to local hospitals for treatment.
Due to the severity of the crash, the roadway was blocked in the area for an extended period of time.
