Forest Park, GA – Police Investigate Multi-Vehicle Wreck on I-75 SB at I-285
Forest Park, GA (December 31, 2021) – At 11:30 p.m. on the evening of Friday, December 31, a multi-vehicle collision occurred in the Forest Park area of Atlanta.
Per official reports, the accident happened in the southbound lanes of I-75 around the area of eastbound I-285 and Exit 237 to Forest Parkway. Two or more vehicles were traveling in the area when they collided with each other due to reasons that are not yet known. The vehicles involved in the accident were badly damaged as a result.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were immediately dispatched to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims, who have not yet been identified, were taken to local hospitals for treatment. Their conditions are not known at this time.
All lanes were blocked in the area for an extended period of time, and the highway remained closed while police collected evidence and worked to clear the scene.
The investigation into the circumstances of the accident continues at this time.
