Covington, GA – Car Crash with Injuries on I-20 Near Almon Rd
Covington, GA (January 12, 2022) – On Wednesday afternoon, January 12, a serious car crash with injuries occurred on a major highway in Covington.
Covington Police confirmed that the accident happened at 1:28 p.m. in the westbound lanes of I-20 around the area of Almon Road. Several vehicles were traveling in the area when they collided with each other due to unknown reasons. The vehicles involved in the accident sustained severe damages as a result.
Local responders, including Covington paramedics and fire crews, were immediately dispatched to the scene to help those in need. Several victims were seriously injured as a result of the collision.
