Cartersville, GA – Rollover Accident Leads to Injuries in NB Lanes of I-75

Cartersville, GA (October 22, 2021) – At 3:56 p.m. on the afternoon of Wednesday, October 20, a rollover accident occurred in Cartersville.

According to officials, the accident happened in the northbound lanes of I-75 around the area of exit 285. A minivan and at least one other vehicle were traveling in the area when they collided with each other due to unknown reasons. The minivan was struck so forcefully that it rolled over and ran into a guardrail. The vehicles involved in the accident were extensively damaged as a result.

Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were immediately dispatched to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims were injured in the accident. The injured victims were taken to local hospitals for treatment.

Due to the severity of the accident, the roadway was blocked in the area for some time.
