Cartersville, GA – Major Car Accident at Church St & US-41 Intersection
Cartersville, GA (January 4, 2022) – At 1:30 p.m. on the afternoon of Tuesday, January 4, a major car accident with injuries occurred at an intersection in Cartersville.
According to Cartersville Police, the accident happened at the intersection of Church Street and US-41 near the Krystal restaurant. Several vehicles were traveling in the area when they entered the intersection at the same time, forcefully colliding with each other. The vehicles involved in the accident were badly damaged as a result of the accident.
Numerous responders, including paramedics and fire crews, were called to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims sustained injuries as a result of the accident. The unidentified parties were taken to local hospitals for treatment of their injuries.
Several lanes of traffic were blocked in the area of the intersection for some time as police worked to clear the scene.
