Cartersville, GA – Car Crash at Douthit Ferry Rd & Indian Mounds Rd
Cartersville, GA (December 8, 2021) – On Wednesday afternoon, December 8, a car crash with injuries occurred at an intersection in Cartersville.
According to Cartersville Police, the accident happened at the intersection of Douthit Ferry Road and Indian Mounds Road. Three or more vehicles were traveling in the area when they collided with each other due to reasons that are not fully known. The vehicles involved in the accident were badly damaged as a result and had to be towed from the scene.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were called to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims sustained injuries as a result of the accident. The injured victims were taken to local hospitals for treatment of unknown injuries.
Due to the severity of the accident, a large portion of the roadway was blocked at the intersection for some time.
