Atlanta, GA – Tractor-Trailer Collision on GA 400 at I-85 Ends in Injuries
Atlanta, GA (October 23, 2021) – On Friday, October 22, a truck accident occurred in Atlanta and led to serious injuries.
According to troopers with the Georgia State Patrol, two SUVs collided, causing a tractor-trailer to jackknife when it braked to avoid hitting them.
The incident blocked all lanes on northbound GA Highway 400 after the split with I-85, along Lenox Road.
Traffic cameras showed first responders were making some progress in beginning to tow the tractor-trailer a bit before 12:30 p.m.
Paramedics and fire crews responded to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims were injured as a result of the accident. Their conditions are not yet known.
No further details have been released. The investigation into the circumstances of the collision continues.
