Atlanta, GA – Rollover Accident on I-20 Near Glenwood Ave Leads to Injuries
Atlanta, GA (December 9, 2021) – Before 7 a.m. on Thursday morning, December 9, a rollover accident led to injuries on a highway in Atlanta.
According to Atlanta Police, the accident happened in the westbound lanes of I-20 around the area of Glenwood Avenue. Two or more vehicles were traveling in the area when they suddenly collided due to reasons that are not yet known. One of the vehicles immediately rolled over, which led to extensive damages.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were called to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims were injured as a result of the accident. The injured parties were taken to local hospitals for treatment of their injuries.
Due to the severity of the accident, the roadway was blocked in the area for an extended period of time. Police quickly worked to clear the scene.
No further details have been released but the investigation continues.
