Atlanta, GA – Injury Auto Wreck on I-75 at Bill Gardner Pkwy Under Investigation
Atlanta, GA (December 26, 2021) – At 11:30 a.m. on the morning of Sunday, December 26, a car accident with injuries occurred on a highway in Atlanta.
According to local authorities, the accident happened in the southbound and northbound lanes of Interstate 75 around the area of the Bill Gardner Parkway exit ramp.
Two vehicles were traveling in the area when one of the vehicles, described only as a sedan, slammed into the back of another. The vehicles involved in the crash were badly damaged as a result.
Henry County paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were immediately called to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims were hurt in the collision. The injured victims were taken to the hospital for treatment, though their conditions are not yet known.
The left lanes of the roadways were blocked, which led to delays for a period of time, but the area has since reopened.
The investigation remains ongoing, and further details have not yet been provided.
