Pedestrian Accidents in Georgia

Pedestrian accidents are known for being some of the most severe accidents on our roads. This is due to the fact that pedestrians have no protection from harm in the event of an accident. This means that many serious injuries and fatalities will stem from pedestrian accidents each year. The truth is, these collisions can typically be prevented but continue to occur due to negligent reasons. In just 2018 alone, it was reported that 260 pedestrians were killed and many others were seriously injured in accidents throughout Georgia. If you have been hurt in a pedestrian accident that is not your fault, you may be feeling alone and confused. You should seek the help of an attorney that you can trust after a pedestrian accident.

The aftermath of a pedestrian accident can be a devastating time in your life. This is especially true knowing that pedestrian accidents can be entirely complex in nature. These accidents sometimes lead to serious injuries. These injuries sometimes include spinal cord injuries, traumatic brain injuries, organ damage, fractures, and more. Injuries caused by pedestrian accidents sometimes land victims in the hospital and cause them to miss out on time in the workplace. If you have been hurt in a pedestrian accident, you should speak with an Athens personal injury attorney that you can rely on.
