Acworth, GA – Car Accident at Bells Ferry Rd & Old Bascomb Rd Intersection

Acworth, GA (October 20, 2021) – At 6:29 a.m. on the morning of Wednesday, October 20, a car accident with injuries occurred in Acworth.

According to police, the accident happened at the intersection of Bells Ferry Road and Old Bascomb Road. Two or more vehicles were traveling in the area when they entered the intersection at the same time, forcefully colliding with each other. The vehicles involved in the accident were badly damaged as a result.

Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were called to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims were injured as a result of the accident. The injured victims were taken to local hospitals for treatment of their injuries, though their conditions are not yet known.

Due to the severity of the accident, multiple lanes of traffic were blocked. This led to delays in the area for some time.
